Welcome to my Blog!

Thank you for coming to my site and viewing my blog. This is where I display a Sneak Peek for my clients to get a look at some of their images taken during their Photo Session. This is a wonderful way to get an idea of what I do for my clients and for them to share their experience with their friends and family! Thank you to all of our past and current clients, I am so grateful to be a part of documenting your lives. "Your Portraits.... Our Passion. Together We Create the Perfect Portraits!"

Kaylee's 6 month old Session

This is Kaylee and her big brother Justin.  He is a graduate of our Baby Portrait Collection Program and she is currently a member of the program.  Watching them grow up has been a lot of fun for me because I have known this family for many years, even before the weddings and the kids!
This session was for Kaylee's 6 month old portraits and Justin is always welcome to show off his cuteness for the camera too :o)  So, we started off in the family backyard with Justin and his baseball bat.  Dad is a HUGE sports guy, as well as many other members of their family, so we often incorporate sports into the sessions, from props to t-shirts and hats.  The number 22 on his shirt is also very special to the family as it was their Grandpa's number...
Take a look at Justin's action shots!

Kaylee was ready to go with her beautiful smiles :o)  Check out this cutie pie!

Kaylee's mom has been holding on this wings and the tutu since she was born, waiting for her to fit into it someday.  Finally today was the day!  It was still a little big but we made it work.  She was a bit tired though at this point but I didn't mind, tired poses often turn into the best shots.  As a matter of fact I ended up using the last pose as the test image for a new painting technique I offer now.  Take a look...

This is the original image of Kaylee...

And this is Kaylee painted...  What do you think?!
(If you are interested in a painting of one of your images, let me know)

These last couple poses are of the two of them together in a football beanbag with several of Dad's "real" bats for a fun sporty look...
