3 Month Old Baby Portraits

This adorable little munchkin is Reed. He is 3 months and the newest member of our Baby Portrait Collection Series. We love to take the pressure off of Mom's and give them discounted sessions for a whole year and photograph the baby and family in the comfort of their home or where ever they like! Reed's Mom was referred to us by Dr. Carrie Wheeler, my wonderful talented Chiropractor in Carmichael =) Thank you so much Carrie!! Take a look at how cute this baby boy is...

It's Our Anniversary!

Since we will be celebrating Our Anniversary alone in Carmel next weekend we decided to do something fun with our two boys: JOHN'S INCREDIBLE PIZZA!!!  Its a little better than Chuck E. Cheese for us and we love to eat the dessert there, YUM!  These are our boys in the car on the way there.  They actually look like they get along here!  Its because they are both Camera hogs, wonder where they get that from...

I have recently fallen in love with Paul Frank.  This was on my sons T-shirt and was given to him by my friend Robyn.  I have the slippers, pajamas and stickers, and I am looking for more!
We are in love with the donuts at Incredible Johns Pizza and in honor of our Anniversary there was a heart shaped one just for me :o)

I woke up this morning to breakfast in Bed and a hot cup of coffee followed by a beautiful card from my hubby.  He is so wonderful!

Our two boys went shopping with each of us by ourselves and the boys picked out a card and a gift for us.  We both got these cute stuffed animals that talk.  My bear is voice activated and responds when I say I love you!  They are so cute!

Time to watch American Idol, Gotta go!!  Love you Colin with all my heart and soul!

Gifts in Friends...

My husband and I have been married for 9 years tomorrow. A dear friend of mine called me yesterday and asked me to stop by their house. So I headed over there on my way home and they caught me off guard with these beautiful gifts! Since my family was not with me they told me to wait till I got home to open our gifts and our boys were so excited :o) Gifts are nice expressions of friendships but the greatest gifts of all are good friends.
These flowers are so awesome and the hand-painted Starbucks mug is gorgeous but the sign... Completely Perfect!! LOL!

Tomorrow night we will be celebrating with our boys. We have a tradition of taking them out for dinner, getting gifts they can give to us and taking them somewhere fun to play. I love Anniversaries and I am so in love with my man :o) HAPPY NINE YEARS BABY!!

Let it Rain!!

Although cloudy days can sometimes bring on the blues I absolutely love when it rains. I love how everything turns green, I love the snow on the mountains and yes I love drinking a hot cup of coffee while I watch the rain drops :o) If I have to go shopping though its a completely different story. Today we didn't have to go anywhere and the scene in our yard was awesome. After a few hours of down pour the sun started to peek through the trees and the cloud formations were awesome! It made me think of when I was little and I would lay on my back in the middle of our yard on a puffy cloud kind of day and find objects within the clouds...Do you see the head of the dog in my cloud photo?? :o)

Project 365 "A PHOTO A DAY"

Here is tonight's photo for the day. In a nutshell this is my happy place... My husband built me a fire since he knows the comfort I find in it and made me a cup of coffee in one of my favorite mugs. Home with my family enjoying the pitter-patter of the rain falling and drinking my "cup of joy"...

Adam & Kathleen's Maternity Portraits

Adam & Kathleen are expecting their first little Bundle of Joy and we had the privilege of photographing this adorable couple and self proclaimed "cheese balls" as they put it :o) We first met them at their Wedding when I assisted Jordan Zink Photography who specializes in Wedding Portraiture so when it came time for the Maternity session, my long time friend Jordan referred them to us. Thank you Jordan!!
We set up our studio in the couples front room and talked a little bit about the style we were going for and they quickly warmed up to the camera. They are so cute together I couldn't stop snapping shots of them. Adam was also one of kind, as he had no problem posing and knew exactly what looked good, take a look...
Thank you so much for having us over to your home. We enjoyed the two of you very much and can't wait to show you the final images. It was extremely hard for me to pick out my favorites for the blog, or at least to narrow them down, I loved so many of them!! Talk with you soon :o)

Project 365 in Sacramento

My friend Robyn started this photography blog project called "Project 365". Your goal is to post a photo a day of anything you want to and then blog about it. So here goes! She has motivated me to break away from the lives of my clients, even on a Sunday night, and take a moment out of every day to reflect on the important moments that grossly get over looked. So as my "Personal Photos" folder on my hard drive continues to fill up with no prints in site I will at the very least stop and take a photo and reflect on the blessings in my life.
This first day of January we went to my Mother in laws house and took our 6 month old puppy Hurley over with us to play. Hurley is a crack up because he has no idea how small he is, even when he is playing with a retriever! They look as if they are hurting each other here but Kaylee is just reminding Hurley that she is very much in control at her house :o)
They are both extremely tired after all of their wrestling and have decided its best to lay down for a bit and act as if nothing ever happened! I love animals, they bring you joy like nothing else can, especially when they are dogs like my Hurley cause he doesn't shed and he's a mama's boy just like my sons.We love comments so please tell us what is on your mind when you look at our photos, we love feedback!
