LaTorre Family Portraits

I met this family through my "Stroller Fit" instructor -Cyndi Cook. Thank you so much Cyndi for sending them my way for their family portraits :o) They were looking for some photojournalistic style portraits so we walked around their property together as I captured them playing with each other, playing with the horses and sitting near a small pond. It was a very beautiful day, take a look...
Thank you so much for inviting me over to capture your family. I will be in touch with you guys very soon!

The Bouve' Family Portraits

The Bouve' Family is new to our neighborhood and their oldest child goes to the same school as my oldest son, which is funny because it is not near our homes. Michelle called me to set up a family portrait session, while their extended family was in town, over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was a very windy day so we decided it would be best to do their session inside for the sake of all of the children :o) Happy kids make much better portraits! Take a look at the adorable family...
Thank you so much for contacting me to do your family portraits and welcome to the neighborhood! We are glad to have you guys and we look forward to seeing you guys again soon :o)

The Howeton's Family Portraits in Grass Valley

In November we donated a couple packages to the Sacramento Children's Museum Live Auction Event. The money spent by the family to win this $750 session was donated to the Museum in an effort to raise money to complete the first Children's Museum in Sacramento CA opening in 2010. For more information please visit the museum site at www.sacramentochildrensmuseum.org
I personally am very excited about this museum. We have been to some in other areas and I have always wished to have one closer to us because our family enjoyed the other museums so much. We will be one of the families watching for the opening date so we can be there to enjoy all of the hard work that has gone into making this happen.
The Gearheart family made a generous donation in order to win this package for their daughter and family visiting over the Thanksgiving Holiday from Virgina. The family was very warm and inviting as my niece Madison and I arrived at their beautiful property in Grass Valley. Their home was beautiful and their acres of trees included beautiful horses and the most picturesque areas around. A complete photographers dream! We made our way around the property with the family and captured some beautiful moments, take a look...
This photo is one of my favorites as it captures the true moments of being a child! Click on this photo to enlarge it and look at how we caught not just one child off the ground but BOTH of them! I love it :o)
As we finished up the session the children went back to the pond and wanted to throw rocks in and watch them splash. We came up from behind them to capture them in action, it was so precious to see them play together and again capture them exactly as they are, cute and playful :o) Grandpa had to get in on the playing so below you will see what he referred to as a big fish splashing, when really he had thrown in a very large rock in to see what the grand kids would do...they loved it and it created a very awesome photo, thanks Grandpa!
Before we left we went in to chat over a glass of wine with the family and their beautiful puppy looked so cute as I walked in through the door so I had to grab one last photo of his cute face saying to me "Can I come in too?"
Thank you so much for having us come to your home, we truly enjoyed the entire family and we look forward to seeing you again.

Cara's Senior Portraits

This beautiful young lady is graduating from a Roseville High School and had a vision of Fall for her portraits. Cara was referred to us by the Mahoney Family - Thank you very much for sending this family our way, we appreciate the compliment!
I met Cara and her mom at a location that was new to us but has been in Carmichael for many years. This beautiful park although small was packed with lots of little neat spots to add variety to her session. Take a look at this future Modeling Basketball Star!
Thank you so much for coming to us for your Senior Portraits. We will be in touch with you soon :o)
