Like most guys they really like the serious-tough look so we did a lot of both to make everyone happy but in the end I was after the "mom smiles" as I call them and it worked for these two!
It is always important to me during a photo shoot to get different looks for the family to choose from. So we took a walk around the area and the boys changed into a couple different shirts as well. We had fun in the trees until the sleeping security guard came out and said we were in a construction area and had to move along. (but I was able to get a few photographs in first!)
Before we were done for the afternoon we decided to loosen up Tino's look as Andrew went to change into his ROTC uniform. Tino plays baseball so we did some shots of him with his hat on. This is one of my favorites because he looks so relaxed.
Andrew arrived a couple minutes later in full uniform causing quit a commotion from people walking by. He will be joining the Air Force this summer.
One last portrait of the two boys together before we finished up and I still managed to get one last laugh out of them!
The entire family was such a joy to be with. They have another set of twins and they all have brilliant smiles that are contagious. Thank you Chavez family for allowing me to be part of documenting this important stage in your lives. Now you will have portraits to look at for years to come and remember this stage of the boys lives as they grow into adults. Thank you Michele Roman for the refferal of the Chavez family as well - I love refferals!!
